SPR had a quite-a insurrectionary origin in 2011. Also a bit more free time. Much of its energy is now directed to publishing books at FATHOM; current fire & ice on poetry and the writing life are occasional at SPR, surfacing a dozen times a year.
Major contributions from 2011-2020 were made by Editor Spece; Eric Westerlind; Will Emery; and Stephanie Adams-Santos.
Some of our most delicious work:
- Spece’s “dreamlessness, [i]“
- Spece’s “Tedious Callers & Wraiths”
- Parkison’s “Maybe Vivisection”
- Siobhan’s “Malpaís / Badlands / Majesty”
- Spece’s evisceration of Lasky’s ROME
- A celebration of Saavedra’s “From the Temple Priapus”
- “Thinking About Lucie Brock-Broido”
- “What is a Public Apology?”
- Vince’s “machine poetic_v_1”
- Spece’s “Convenient Morbidity”
- Adams-Santos’ “Youna Kwak and ‘The Living Substance’”
